Howard Wood Field is a stadium in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, constructed in 1957. Holding 10,000 people, it is one of the premier football, soccer and track facilities in the region. Howard Wood Field has undergone several upgrades, including the installation of FieldTurf in 2003, upgraded press box and seating in 2012, and upgraded fieldhouse and locker rooms in 2017.
Howard Wood Field also serves as the home football and soccer stadium for all four Sioux Falls Public High Schools (Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt and Washington) and is the host to the Howard Wood Dakota Relays.
event staff opportunities
It's almost impossible to run the top-notch events that we do for our student-athletes without the help and assistance of staff, administration, volunteers, community members and the list goes on. If you are looking for a way to be involved, we encourage you to sign up to be an Event Worker for our Fall Athletic Season at Howard Wood Field.
